Welcome to the home site for the Great Lakes Women's Soccer League. The GLWSL is open to all women who are eighteen years or older. The GLWSL is a USSF affiliated league run by volunteers. The current membership includes thirty-six (36) teams in seven divisions. The first three divisions are for women 18 and over. The last four are for women over 30 years old. Teams are located throughout the Detroit area including Wayne, Oakland, and Washtenaw Counties. If you have any questions or are looking for a team to play on, contact Ruth Tiplady Let her know where you live and explain your soccer experience. She will try to connect you with a team from your area and try to match your competitive level. The GLWSL plays one season: a summer session (which runs June to September). Games are usually played on Sunday afternoon (5:00 pm or later). The schedules and standings will be printed on the web-page.
