The
Great Lakes
Women's Soccer League
(GLWSL) is open to all women who are 18 years or older.
The GLWSL is a USSF affiliated league run by volunteers. The
current membership includes thirty-six (36) teams in six divisions. The
first two divisions are for women 18 and over. The last four are for women
over 30 years old.
The
GLWSL Teams are located throughout the Detroit
area including Wayne, Oakland, and Washtenaw Counties. If you have any
questions or are looking for a team to play on, contact
Ruth Tiplady.
Let her know where you live and explain your soccer experience. She will try
to connect you with a team from your area and try to match your competitive
level.
The GLWSL plays one season: a summer session (which runs June to
September). Games are usually played on Sunday afternoon (5:00 pm or
later).
The Schedules and
Standings posted on this website will be kept up
to date. It is
a good idea to check the Homepage for any changes caused by rainouts or
mandated by municipalities. If you have any questions about the schedule,
contact Pat Mathieu. Please report all
